A piece of worked flint, possibly a leaf shaped arrowhead dating to the early Neolithic period, c. 3800 to 3000 BC. The object is sub-triangular in plan and is made of flint which has probably been burnt and is a reddish-brown in colour. There are some breaks at both the pointed and butt ends so the projectile point is no longer present. There is evidence for retouching around the edges and also on both faces. Due to the breakages it is possible that this object is a blade. Similar flint tools have been recorded on the PAS database and can be seen at SUR-00D436, SWYOR-A77E73 and …

A small leaf-shaped flint arrowhead, with small amounts of iron stain forming on the dorsal side. There is some patina on the right side of the dorsal side. On the ventral side there is a completely flat face; there are three clear faces on the dorsal. The point is broken off and there is a small chip in the left cutting edge, when looking at the dorsal face. The very deliberate leaf shape leads to the conclusion that this is an arrowhead rather than a microlith, and the date of Later Neolithic is suggested by a similar example, albeit more damaged, in Bond (2004, 142; ref. F140).

A flint leaf shaped arrowhead which probably dates from the Early Neolithic period. The arrowhead is 31.7mm long, 19.3mm wide and 4.7mm thick. It is a kite-shaped form, meaning it is the same shape at both ends. It is invasively retouched on both faces to shape it precisely. This would have required great skill. Although this type of arrowhead is sometimes found in Late Neolithic and Bronze Age contexts, there is no evidence to suggest that they were used after the middle Neolithic (Butler 2005). The flint is completely patinated and is white and brown in colour.

Large Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age oblique flint arrowhead or (possibly) tip of flint spearhead, 56mm long and 47mm wide at base. Though broken at tip and base, the object is in good condition with a pale-cloudy patina of light grey colour. The arrowhead has two slightly curving sides which are covered in very fine re-touch. Due to the damage we cannot be certain of its original length. It is possible, however, that the base had a crescent shape - similar to other flint arrowheads and spearheads of that period.
