An incomplete and damaged Neolithic handaxe of prehistoric date.
The object is made of a light grey off white and speckled flint with occasional white patches and orange staining. In parts it has a semi glossy patina. Traces of cortex remain on two wide surfaces which is thin and white one of which has slightly reflective quartz like inclusions.

An incomplete flint probable arrowhead of Neolithic-Bronze Age dating (AD 3450-1200 BC).
The artefact broadly resembles a Leaf-shaped arrowhead. It is lentoid in plan and bi-convex in section. Both the dorsal and ventral surfaces have covering scaled flaking and all edges, with the exception of the proximal, have fine low angled retouch. The proximal edge has been abruptly blunted, forming a notched aspect at its base. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.The flint is grey in colour.

The implement is a scraper, formed from a tertiary flake which is triangular in plan and ovate in section. The ventral surface is smooth with a partial bulb of percussion.
