A complete flint implement, made from a flake of grey flint, probably a piercer dating to the Neolithic period to Early Bronze Age (c. 4000 - 1600 BCE).
It is sub-ovate in plan and plano-convex in section, and measures 42.6 mm long, 53.5 mm wide and 22.4 mm thick. It weighs 54.5 g. Some cortex remains on parts of the proximal end and one of the lateral edges. A triangular piercing point projects from the distal end, shaped by invasive retouching along its sides. A second, less sharp point projects from one of the lateral edges, shaped by invasive retouching.
