It is a large chunk of yellow cherty flint which is crazed and fractured from exposure to heat or file, making the original form difficult to recognise. Most of the surfaces appear to be natural fracturing, but two may be blade removal scars from a cylindrical core, probably from two opposing striking platforms. The chunk is 34.3mm long, 45.1mm wide and 31mm thick. 46.4g. It could also be a chunk of heat damaged debitage or natural stone.
