A natural nodule of flint with small possible blade removals of uncertain date. The nodule is sub-U-shaped with an ovate section and has a mid-grey/brown cortex covering most of the surface.
One tip of the nodule displays three parallel negative scars from flake/blade removals. The resulting edge is fairly sharp. It is not possible to determine when the removals occurred. They may be ancient or more recent.
The nodule is 92.3mm long, 50mm wide, 37.2mm thick and weighs 200g.

A flint flake of unknown date. It is roughly triangular in plan. This is a tertiary flake. The proximal end of the flake appears to have been broken but it is partly obscured by adhering soil. The ventral surface does not show the bulb of percussion or the bulbal scar but ripples resulting from the concoidal fractures are visible. The dorsal surface shows negative scars from flake removal, not all of which have been removed in parallel to this flake. The proximal end of this surface features a rough area that could be described as hackly.
One of the mesal edge appears to show three…

Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
A tertiary flint flake of unknown date. Roughly triangular in plan it tapers to a sharp point. The proximal end appears to be broken so the bulbal scar and bulb of percussion are not present. There is no evidence for ripples on the surface. The dorsal face shows some damage at the proximal end. It features a central spine running from the mesal part of the face to the distal end.
The flint is patinated giving it an opaque white appearance. It measures 28.18mm long x 6.36mm wide x 2.97mm thick. It weighs 0.43g.

A flint flake. This is a secondary flake with a fragment of cortex on distal end of one edge. There is also a fragment of cortex embedded in the flint at the distal end of the object. The ventral side features the bulb of percussion and a bulbal scar. Ripples resulting from the concoidal fracture appear only very weakly. The dorsal surface has a ridge running diagonally across it.
The flint is black with some white speckles. This flake measures 42.27mm long x 19.42mm wide x 5.81mm thick. It measures 5.31g.

A flint round scraper made from a tertiary flake. Round scrapers are ubiquitous throughout prehistory and are therefore very difficult to date to any particular period.
The proximal end of the original flake is flat and smooth. The ventral face of the flake features a bulbal scar and a low blub of percussion. The dorsal face is rough and irregular, the result of other flakes having been removed. The right edge, the distal edge and much of the left edge have been retouched to form the scraper. The retouch can be described as short, semi abrupt and scaled.

A round scraper made from a tertiary flake. Round scrapers are ubiquitous throughout prehistory and are therefore very difficult to date to any particular period.
Owing to the roundness of this object and the extent of retouch, many of the features which are commonly mentioned when describing a flint are difficult to determine.
The presumed ventral face retains a central spine of the original surface. Around the edges of this face a series of sizeable flakes have been removed. These can be described as semi-abrupt invasive sub-parallel removals. As a result there is no evidence …

A possible flint knife, made from a tertiary flake which is roughly D shaped. The flake has been bifacially worked with covering, low angle scaled retouch on both sides. However, there is no abrupt retouch backing which is typical of D shaped knives dating to the Early to Middle Neolithic. Therefore this date of this object is uncertain.
The flint is grey with patches of white and black. This object measures. 54.55mm long x 49.43mm wide x 14.52mm thick. It weighs 38.66g.
