A  Lower Palaeolithic bifacial flint handaxe of Acheulean tradition dating to c. 500,000 to 250,000 BC. This is a 'ficron' type handaxe which belongs to the Middle Acheulean tradition. A complete discoidal flint scraper made on a tertiary flake, likely dating between the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age (2700-1600 B.C.).  Sub-circular in plan, with one side thicker and bulbous. Around 50% of the scraper edge is retouched at the thicker end. Retouch on the dorsal face only is invasive, abrupt and scaled. The flint is opaque and patchy mid and light grey, with a low gloss patina. The flint measures 44.28mm in length, 40.37mm in width, has a maximum thickness of 12.21mm and weighs 23.86g.

The retouch varies; on the ventral face the retouch can be seen on two edges, it is long, stepped and semi-abrupt. On the dorsal face the same edges exhibit long, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch.
