Flint waste flake, sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section, that has been snapped off from a larger implement at the proximal end and is likely to be a waste flake from the Neolithic period. There is also damage at the distal end and elongate parallel flaking scars dorsally. The jagged edge of the right margin of the dorsal face is not retouch and the notch is certainly damage, so the flake has not been worked and is waste material. One previous large removal from the dorsal face and large percussion ripples on the ventral face. Some parallel, short to long abrupt retouch on the right edge on the dorsal face, possibly reworking as a scraper. Mid to pale grey mottled flint, 9.99 grams. Flake 2: Large flake with prominent bulb of percussion and ripples on ventral face. Hinge fracture at distal end and small area (c.5%) of cortex near the distal end on the dorsal fa…

Four secondary and one tertiary knapped flint flakes. All have evidence of regular working from a core. The secondary pieces have only small (c.5%) areas of cortex. One, in darker grey flint, is possibly a waste piece from a blade core with evidence for long parallel removals from the dorsal face and probably dates to the later Mesolithic. One is burnt and was possible retouched, possibly a scraper, before burning although the edge is now fire damaged and has crumbled away. Such burning of knapped flint is more common in the Bronze Age. 21.57 grams.

A tertiary flake of Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. The flake has a visible bulb of percussion and bulbar scar on the ventral face. There is damage at the proximal end of the distal face from previous mistrkes. The edges are badly chipped in places and there may be a few areas of short semi-abrupt retouch. The flake is mottled and varies significantly in colour, ranging from light grey to mid green.
