The left edge has cortex remaining. The ventral face has a small bulb of percussion. Brown flint. The length of the blade is 37.8mm, the width is 15.6mm and the weight is 3.40g.

Probably a tip fragment from a Lower Palaeolithic Acheulian hand axe. The opaque mid brown flint bears traces of polish all over. The axe is bifacially worked and has some retouch on one side (area a). It is likely that the axe was broken in antiquity. The length is 62.1mm, the width is 37.6mm, the thickness is 24.4mm and the weight is 45.97g.
