Grey flint, appearing brownish under transmitted light, discoidal knife. A thin oval flake of lentoid section bearing covering angled scalar retouch across both its sides. Chipped at one end, probably recently. A lack of patination might hint at the recent disturbance of the object from a sealed context. Grey flint with cortex debitage. A small thick fragment with cortex trimmed from its dorsal side by the hard hammer removal of broad flakes. The ventral surface appears unworked, possibly arising from natural breakage of a segment from a nodule with crystalline inclusions at its heart. Grey flint with cortex strip, scraper. A thick oval flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side by multangular hard hammer strike. Angled scalar retouch then executed from the dorsal aspect followed a curved edge. Patches of misty patina subsequently developed over this side of the object, and on part of its ventral surface. This patina is absent from most of the rest of the ventral surface, which may originally have been bulbar, but which has been extensively reworked with angled hard hammer drafts. Opaque grey flint possible debitage. A small flat-sided flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side and a flat ventral surface. Grey-brown translucent flint of high quality with cortex spot, possible backed blade. Height: 24.1mm, Width: 29.2mm, Thickness: 24mm, Weight: 18.65gms

Pale grey flint scraper. Thick oval flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side by hard hammer, and with a bulbar ventral surface with a prominent striking platform. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect may follow the curving edge opposite the platform, though this area was subsequently battered. A light misty patina and orange spots may suggest the object was subsequently exposed to a calcareous environment, perhaps also incorporated into gravels. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. Length: 38.7mm, Width: 37.7mm, Thickness: 14.8mm, Weight: 21.59gms

Grey flint with thick cortex, probable hollow scraper. A sub-triangular or D-shaped flake with cortex trimmed from part of its dorsal side and with a slightly bulbar ventral surface, Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows a slightly concave edge. A more prominent bulb on the ventral surface may have been trimmed by hard hammer strike, possibly with further light angled scalar retouch, perhaps intended to enable pressure to be exerted here while using the concave edge. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC Length: 26.6mm, Width: 39.8mm, Thickness: 10mm, Weight: …

Dark grey flint with cortex core. A round nodule fragment with broad and sometimes parallel flakes removed by probably unidirectional working from a broad and slightly convex striking platform. Light misty patina may suggest a subsequent period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC Diameter: 32mm, Height: 20mm, Weight: 18.79gms
