Dark grey- brown flint serrated implement. A thin sub-ovoid flake with narrow and broad parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a bulb at one end of a slightly concave ventral surface. Very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the longest edge. Both ends are also lightly battered. This coastal context has produced a number of finely worked early tools in dark, often brownish, varieties of non-local flint. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC. Length: 44.0mm, Width: 26.5mm, Thickness: 6.6mm, Weight: 8.59gms.

Black flint with cortex spot, possibly collected from the East Coast, serrated implement. Long curved flake with long parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a concave rippled ventral surface. Very short abrupt retouch, more easily felt than observed, and executed from the dorsal aspect, follows the longest edge, and is perhaps supplemented by damage along the same edge producing tiny conchoidal scars. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC. Length: 52.7mm, Width: 13.8mm, Thickness: 7.3mm, Weight: 5.99gms

Brown cloudy opaque flint of good quality. Possible flint knife or saw. Three long parallel flake removal scars on the dorsal aspect meet at the rounded end of a long straight sided flake; the ventral side bears a small bulb of percussion defining the round end described above. Fine retouch down both long sides executed from the dorsal side gives a very finely serrated double cutting edge. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic, 7000-3500 BC. Length: 31.9mm, Width: 10.6mm, Thickness (at bulb): 3.6mm, Weight: 1.35gms.

Honey coloured semi-translucent flint with cortex. Possible saw fragment. Long flake with two long parallel flake or cortex removal scars on its dorsa aspect, and a bulb of percussion and ripples on the ventral. Fine pressure flaking executed from both sides produced a finely serrated and probably subsequently worn cutting edge along the convex curve of one side; the more prominent flaking opposite this is the result of fortuitous impacts. Suggested date: Early Neolithic, 4000-3500 BC. Length: 32.5mm, Width: 17.3mm, Thickness: 4.2mm, Weight: 3.45gms
