Flint microlith. A narrow triangular flake or bladelet with two long parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a slightly concave ventral surface. Angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect appears towards its pointed end. The finder considers the surface to be lightly crazed by burning. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC Length: 24.5mm, Width: 11.7mm, Thickness: 4mm, Weight: 1.05gms

Grey flint microlith. A small narrow flake with long narrow parallel bladelets struck from its dorsal side and with a slightly concave ventral surface. Very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect defines a hollow in one long edge, while the opposite edge may bear very fine serrations, more easily felt than observed. Creamy patina on struck surfaces suggests the object has endured a period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC. Length: 27.1mm, Width: 9mm, Thickness: 3.3mm, Weight: 0.95gms

Grey-buff flint probable microlith. Triangular point with long parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and a very slightly concave ventral surface. Short abrupt retouch executed from the ventral aspect follows one long edge, forming a microlith of Group A. The lack of patina may suggest the object was incorporated into a sealed context shortly after its deposition. This object is of an earlier object type than almost all the large quantities of flint reported from the vicinity. Suggested date: Early Mesolithic, 10,000-7000 BC. Semi-translucent flint of good quality microlith. Oval-ended flake with three long parallel flakes removed from its dorsal side and with a bulb on the ventral. Short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the curved end. The lack of patina may suggest this object was incorporated into a sealed context shortly after its deposition. Mid grey flint, with heavy white patina overall. Microlith. A rod shaped triangular section point with possibly pressure flaked or soft hammer retouch along one long edge. The finder kindly suggests a Late Mesolithic date. The patination over all worked surfaces argues this object was exposed for a long period. It was recovered along with four others in similar condition. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC. Length: 26.3mm, Width: 5.6mm, Thickness: 3.1mm, Weight: 0.66gms.
