Grey-green flint probable chisel. Elongated triangular tool of sub-rectangular section with a fairly flat broad end and tapering to a stepped point at the other. A longitudinal hollow runs down on one side, possibly the dorsal, and elsewhere the object bears covering angled scalar retouch. Suggested date: Late Neolithic, 2700-2350 BC. Length: 58.1mm, Width: 32.2mm, Thickness: 15.0mm, Weight: 29.69gms

An incomplete flint chisel probably of Neolithic date. The opaque light grey and white sub-rectangular flake is broken at the proximal end. The left and right edges are notched, which suggests that the flake was once hafted. The distal end of the dorsal face has slight retouch. . The ventral face has several flakes removed but is otherwise plain. The surviving length is 32.3mm, the width is 33.4mm, the thickness is 7.7mm and the weight is 11.93g.
