Invasive angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the longest curved edge. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. A flint end scraper of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date. The opaque light grey flint has a thin darker grey patina on most of the dorsal and nearly all of the ventral face. The dorsal face has invasive semi-steep scaled retouch on the distal end and also some of the lower left edge. The retouch exposes the lighter grey flint underneath the patina, which suggests that it was done at a later date to when the flake was stuck. The dorsal face has a few flakes removed with remaining ripple marks and the distal end is hollow with some retouch. The ventral face is heavily worked with flakes removed in various directions with ripple marks remaining. There is no obvious bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The length is 25.9mm, the width is 27.2mm, the thickness is 9.2mm and the weight is 5.98g.
