Grey-buff flint with dense white patina, scraper. Flake with broad flakes trimmed from both sides and subsequently patinated, presumably through long exposure. This was followed by invasive angled scalar retouch executed from one side, which removed the patina. As no further patination occurred, the object may have been incorporated into sealed deposit shortly after its final deposition. The Early Bronze Age could accommodate all these episodes. The side opposite the working face is broken, probably recently. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. Length: 32.2mm, Width: 29…

Grey flint with dense creamy patina scraper. Flake with broad parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and a very slightly concave ventral surface. The long edges are battered or ground, the more heavily abraded side being slightly hollowed by this. The extent of patina indicates this object endured prolonged exposure, possibly before the grinding of the hollowed side. Suggested date: Bronze Age, 2350-800 BC. Grey flint with cortex and dense misty patina, scraper. Irregular flake with a prominent bulb on the ventral surface and invasive angled scalar retouch trimming cortex along a curving edge. Grey flint with misty patina plano-convex knife. Sub-rectangular flake with a nearly flat ventral surface and covering angled scalar retouch of the dorsal side. The extent of patina suggests the object endured a period of weathering after its deposition. It is broken at its narrower end, probably recently, and chipping along one cutting edge is probably also adventitious. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC, Length: 37.5mm, Width: 20.6mm, Thickness: 5.7mm, Weight: 4.91gms.

Dark grey flint with cortex scraper. Thumbnail scraper; an oval flake with a broad flake trimmed from the dorsal side and a bulb on the ventral. Short invasive scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the curved end, and very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows one long edge. A single scar on the bulb may suggest very limited trimming from the ventral aspect. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. Length: 27.7mm, Width: 20.4mm, Thickness: 8.8mm, Weight: 4.68gms.

Grey flint with cortex and misty patina scraper. Thumbnail scraper with narrow parallel flakes trimmed from the dorsal side and a stepped bulb on the ventral. Short abrupt scalar retouch follows the curving edge. The extent of patina suggests the object endured prolonged exposure after its deposition. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. Length: 26.2mm, Width: 23.4mm, Thickness: 7.5mm, Weight: 5.25gms.

Dark grey flint with cortex and with cloudy patina on its dorsal side and misty patches of patina on the ventral, scraper. An oval flake with broad and narrow flakes trimmed from the dorsal side, and with a platform and bulb on the ventral. The differential degree of patination may suggest an interlude between episodes of working. Very short abrupt retouch then executed from the dorsal aspect follows along about half the curving edge, interrupting patina. These episodes can probably all be accommodated within the earlier Bronze Age. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. L…
