Probably an ephemeral tool knocked out for a single passing use. Suggested date: Bronze Age, 2350-800 BC. Length: 37.6mm, Width: 37.7mm, Thickness: 7.3mm, Weight: 11.65gms

Grey flint with off-white patch near its tip, probable fabricator fragment. A thick pointed flake of plano-convex section with large flakes initially trimmed from its dorsal side and a flat ventral surface. Invasive angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect is carried over most of the surface; this was perhaps interrupted by removal of a further flake from the butt end of the tool. A large flake with broad and narrower flakes removed by unidirectional working and with a working edge formed by a very few angled drafts, with a bulb and platform at the narrower butt end of the ventral surface. The narrow end was subsequently battered. A V-shaped notch in one side, occasioned by an angled impact delivered from the ventral aspect, is probably recent adventitious damage. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC Length: 46.5mm, Width: 36.5mm, Thickness: 10.3mm, Weight: 17.35gms.

Dark grey flint with possibly re-formed cortex, possibly collected from the East Coast, scraper. A thumbnail scraper with short angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect following the curving edge, leaving a broad platform as its butt; and with a flat ventral surface. Light patches of misty patina across struck surfaces may suggest a subsequent limited period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC. Length: 27.4mm, Width: 27.3mm, Thickness: 8.1mm, Weight: 8.43gms

Dark grey flint with thick [1.5mm] cortex, scraper. Thumbnail scraper, with a single flake detached from the dorsal side to provide a thumb rest, and with a bulb at the butt end of the ventral surface. Angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the curved edge. Patches of misty patina suggest a subsequent period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 BC Length: 34.6mm, Width: 26.6mm, Thickness: 10.5mm, Weight: 9.44gms

Grey flint scraper. Thick flake with a broad flake struck from its dorsal side and with a marked concavity on the lower [as illustrated] or butt end of the ventral surface. Angled scalar and very short abrupt retouch, executed in that sequence from the dorsal aspect, follow one long edge and the adjacent part of the end. Suggested date: Bronze Age, 2350-800 BC Length: 32.5mm, Width: 24.7mm, Thickness: 12.3mm, Weight: 12.15gms

Grey flint scraper. Oval thumbnail scraper with broad and narrow flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a bulbar ventral surface. Angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows the curved edge with the site of the butt lightly battered. Misty patina has developed over the dorsal surface, suggesting that that part of the object has endured exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Early Bronze Age, 2350-1600 Length: 21.8mm, Width: 22.3mm, Thickness: 6.6mm, Weight: 4.02gms
