This is also abrupt, scaled and short. There is also a small removal right across the ventral face at the proximal end. The blade is 38.1mm long, 13.9mm wide, 4.3mm thick and weighs 2.64g.

The left edge has short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch. The left side of the dorsal face has several removal scars at right angles to the blade, suggesting it is debitage that has been utilised. This is more typical of flints from the later Neolithic onwards. Though the blade is the right size for a Mesolithic group A microlith, the shape and working do not match. A flint retouched flake of probable neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is a secondary flake of tan to light grey coloured flint, with cortex on the distal end. The proximal end has been extensively worked, removing the striking platform. There is a small area of neat short, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch at the distal end of the right side, and in the middle of the right side is a removal along the right edge which forms a possible denticulate. The flint is partially patinated. The object is 27.3mm long, 24.8mm wide and 7.9mm thick. It weighs 6.11g.
