Small flint chisel, of light grey patinated flint, it appears to have been reshaped from a slightly larger completely ground and polished example, a very smooth remnant of the original surface remains to each face, though the rest of the surfaces are knapped to the smaller size, the lateral edges have been reground and the high points of the later flake scars are also smoothed off to some degree. Adze, of pale buff and misty light grey patinated flint, all flakes appear to be semi-hard hammer struck, the butt is flat: the only remnant of the nodule this was knapped from, it retains a much lighter, almost white patination. The cutting edge has been reshaped crudely by removing invasive flakes from dorsal face only from the cutting edge, the result is uneven. This may have been an attempt to make a shorter adze a damaged example, or a failed attempt to resharpen a blunt edge, it is clear that this piece was abandoned at this point. Thin, ovoid scraper made from a large primary flake, all flake scars appear to be soft hammer struck to the dorsal face only, the flakes have not been able to remove the thin, weathered cortex, though a very acute angle has been achieved along the longer side, one end is steeper and more of a conventional scraper form, the opposing end and the “back” are of rougher knapping and finishing, this may suggest that this scraper was hafted, though this is not conclusive. Thick, triangular sectioned blade, soft hammer struck from broken axe; one side of the blade is fully polished and was originally part of the outer surface of the axe, given the curvature of the polished face of this flake it appears it was taken from the curve towards the cutting edge, near to one side of the axe, using the transverse break in the axehead as a platform.
