A flint levallois core of Middle Paleolithic date, c.250,000BC - 40,000. Description: The core is rounded on three sides and flat on the bottom where the final removal occurred. It has covering scaled semi-abrupt retouch. consisting of substantial shaping removals around the upper surface and sides giving it the distinctive turtle shell shape of a levallois core. The large removal on the base is uncertain but looks to be a very rough hinge fracture which shattered the flat edge of the core. This removal would have produced a large rounded scraping flake. A coarse flint scraper of uncertain date, likely Late Bronze age to Iron Age in date (c. 1200-1 BC). Description: The scraper is very roughly teardrop shaped and formed on a tertiary flake, with a small narrow striking platform at the proximal end and distinct arched ventral face. The conchoidal rippling is very distinct indicating its production though hard hammer technology, this is particularly noticeable around the heavily fractured bulb of percussion. Description: The scraper is made from a secondary tear dropped flint flake with short scaled semi-abrupt retouch on the concave edge. The flint dark brown lightening to the edges. There is some light brown cortex on the dorsal face Measurements: 44.32mm long, 33.75mm wide, 7.24mm thick and 10.69g in weight.

A complete flake from a prepared core of Late Neolithic to Early Iron Age dating (3300 BC to 1000 BC). The flake is sub rectangular in shape and an off white colour. Part of a striking platform is present at the base of the flake. Retouch is present along the right hand edge and can be classified as short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt. It measures 88.3 mm in length, 40.8 mm maximum width, and 13.6 mm maximum thickness. It weighs 42.9 g. A complete flint microlith bladelet of Mesolithic date (c. 8000-4000 BC). Description: The blade is buff/grey in colour and rectangular in shape, and thin/translucent with a notch to the corner at the opposite end to the bulb of percussion on the ventral face, which also has ripple marks. A fragment of Neolithic polished flint axehead c. 4000 - 2350 BC The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan and has a rounded pointed oval shaped section. Both ends of the axehead have broken off and it has taken serious other strikes around the axhead, with only about half of the side remaining fairly smooth and polished top surface. It has extensive flaking across the surface but no obvious retouch suggesting attempts were made to rework the axehead but no clear edge appears to have been added. A fragment from a polished flint axehead of Neolithic date (4000 - 2350 BC). Description: The axe fragment is rectangular, and has a rounded pointed oval shaped section. The cutting edge has virtually disappeared, leaving a rounded, fairly smooth top surface edge with the cutting edge virtually destroyed.
