A flint scraper of probable early Bronze Age date, circa 2350 - 1600 BC. The flint has no cortex remaining and is therefore a tertiary flint. The flake is sub-ovate in plan and plano-convex in section. The ventral side is smooth with a low bulb of percussion with ripples emanating from it. The dorsal side has three parallel flakes removed and has long, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch to the left mesal. The flake is pale grey in colour with paler spots. Length 45.4mm, width 27.6mm, thickness 7.5mm. Weight 10.0gm.
