A grey flint end scraper of possible Neolithic date. The scraper is circular in plan and  ovate in section and has been re-worked with a soft-hammer touch around one long edge. The ventral side has a pronounced bulb of percussion and rippling suggesting hard hammer working, and the dorsal side has been worked all around its edge, also with prominent ripples present.

Possible flint piercer/arrowhead, of prehistoric dates. Due to its shape, and some retouching, it was likely earmarked to be a tool, but discarded pre-usage. The dark colour of the flint, and its workmanship suggest that it is likely of Neolithic origin. The flint is 90% of a white cloudy patina, and 10% of its surfaces showed signs of iron staining. This is a common occurence on the Land's End peninsula, where we regularly find flint scatters, representing extremely long periods of occupation. A retouched flake of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, c. 4000-1600 BC. The chert is light grey in colour with some white inclusions and is opaque. It is a secondary flake with a small area of cortex remaining at the distal end. In plan the flake is sub-triangular, with a narrow striking platform at a pointed proximal end and a wide distal end showing a previous flake removal scar at the base. On the dorsal surface there are previous flake removal scars.
