A probable Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age bifacial knapped flint blade made of opaque mottled dark grey flint (possibly Woldstone) with some cortex remaining on the distal tip.The cortex is visible on the dorsal and ventral face. The tranverse section is trapezoidal. Both faces have been knapped to form an acute angle at one lateral side and an obtuse angle at the other lateral side. Both the dorsal and ventral face have vertical knap lines with pronounced signs of ridging, which would suggest the use of a hard hammer  in its construction.There seems little sign…

A complete Neolithic to Bronze age Plano convex flint knife. The knife is made from a pale orangy brown translucent flint with inclusions and some cortex remaining on the dorsal face. It is a one sided with a flat ventral face. There is some slight damage to the upper left lateral side of the ventral face. A flint blade core of probable Neolithic date. Description: The core is fabricated on a piece of pale brown flint. There is an area of off-white cortex remaining on one side. Several small striking platforms are visible, from which bladelets have been struck in various directions. One larger blade has been struck leaving a scar approximately 3/4 the length of, and the full width of, the core. This scar has a distinct bulb of percussion and ripples across the face. There is no further working. Measurements: Length 32.57mm: Width 14.71mm: Thickness 14.39mm: Weight 4.75g

A small knapped flint scraper or cutter probably from the Neolithic to Early Bronze Age 4000 to 1500 BCE. It is a plano-convex flint flake, roughly circular with 2 small indentations on the circumference. The ventral (back) surface reveals the smooth curved lines of the bulb of percussion. The dorsal (front) surface shows a small striking platform at the proximal end with a small curved notches of retouch to each side; the cortex is visible mostly to the right side of the flake, with most of the circumference showing retouch. Length 23.8mm, width 21mm, thickness5.3mm, weight 2.94g.

An incomplete unpolished neolithic flaked axehead made from mottled grey flint. The source of the flint is probably the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is pointed oval in cross-section, and slightly convex across its length. One end of the axehead is broken off leaving a smooth end. One face has a crude longitudinal central ridge, with small patches of cortex visible on the ridge. The tip also has a small patch of cortex visible. It is 101mm long, 52mm wide, 25.6mm thick and weighs149.3g.

The ventral surface has smooth surface with ripples travelling North from the striking platform. The dorsal surface is covered by cortex on the left face. The surface is angled. The retouch is short, scaled and has a semi-abrupt angle.

​A polished flint axe head dating to the Neolithic period. It is roughly triangular in shape, with a convex curved blade which has a few small chips. The two long side edges are flat.

A secondary flake of pale brown flint. The flake has a small bulb of percussion from a soft hammer blow and ripples of percussion across the ventral face. The dorsal face has an small area of orange/brown cortex remaining and the scars of several previous flake removals. There is no further working on the flake. This may be a core-rejuvination flake. It is probably Neolithic in date.
