Late Neolithic to Early Bronze age flint scraper. The object is circular shaped, made from a creamy white flint. The scraper has a rounded rectangular cross section. The scraper has repattenated across some of the edges. The ventral surface is jagged with ripples travelling east. The dorsal surface is smoother and flatter. The retouch is short, scaled and abrupt.

Late Neolithic to Early Bronze age flint scraper. The object is thumb shaped, made from a dark brown flint. The scraper has a flattened, oval, cross section. The scraper is slightly translucent on the edges. The ventral surface is covered in cortex. The dorsal surface is smoother with a small dip in the vertical centre. There are ripples travelling North. Retouch is short, scaled and semi-abrupt.

A flint rounded scraper probably dating from the Neolithic period, about 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a flake of translucent dark amber coloured flint with is oval in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The full extent of the right side and distal end are retouched with short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt removals from the dorsal face. The lower left edge has similar retouch but worked from the ventral face. The scraper is 50.6mm long, 37mm wide and 8.5mm thick. 13.35g.

A flint retouched flake, probably of Neolithic date, 4000 - 2350 BC. It is formed on light grey flint with a number of dark inclusions. It is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in section. The distal end is snapped. There is some very fine short, parallel, abrupt retouch at the proximal right side. The left side has edge damage. It is 22.8mm long, 17.1mm wide and 3.1mm thick. It weighs 1.41gm.

An incomplete early Neolithic laurel-leaf shaped flint arrowhead dating from about 3500 BC-2900 BC. The object has been knapped from a light grey opaque flint, mottled with a brown patina. The arrowhead has scalar retouch on both ventral and dorsal faces as well as around the edges. The flint also has a striking platform at the proximal end; the tip at the distal end has been broken off, which indicates that it was utilised. Examples of this type of arrowhead may be found in Edmonds' Stone Tools and Society, page 47. Length: 24.5mm; Width: 16.8mm; Thickness: 4.3mm; Weight: 1.91g

An incomplete flint blade of probable Neolithic date (3500 BC-2100 BC). The flake is quite broad and is broken on the right at the distal end on the dorsal face. There is a visible striking platform and bulb of percussion on the ventral face. There are also a number of small losses on the left hand side of the dorsal face which could be small scalar retouch. A flint thumbnail scraper. This flint is a short and broad tool, following the late Neolithic transition from altering blades, to using more chunky pieces of flint with abrupt retouch. The retouch is on the sides and distal edges. There are also flaking scars on the dorsal face. It has a white patina with some brown inclusions and feels grainy, maybe being chert rather than flint. It measures 20.23mm x 21.26mm x 7.89mm thick, weighing 3.73g. This flint is late Neolithic or Bronze Age in date. For an example see Chris Butler’s ‘Prehistoric flintwork’, fig. 70.1,2.

A flint serrated blade dating from the Early Neolithic period. The blade is 42mm long, 18.7mm wide and 7.1mm thick. The blade has a left edge which is straight and a curved right edge which is serrated at the distal end. The notches seem to have been made by removing flakes from the dorsal face at the proximal end, and from the ventral face at the distal end. There is some edge damage to the left side. There is possible flake scarring on the dorsal face, but both the faces are roughened and have jagged surfaces. The distal left and whole right edge and distal end appear to be retouched, but are also jagged. The flint is white and completely patinated.

A probable worked flint flake which is probably Neolithic. The flake is sub-triangular, nearly twice as wide as long, with flaking scars on the dorsal surface. The right hand side of the dorsal face is rounded and delicately retouched. The distal end is not retouched, but the proximal left hand side is. The flint is 25.3mm long, 34.7mm wide and 7.2mm thick. It is cream coloured and patinated.

An early Bronze Age flint arrowhead. The arrowhead is barbed and tanged with one barb missing. It is invasively worked. The flint is light grey with darker and almost white patches and even patination. The surviving barb is pointed and the tang is rounded, but may not be complete. The arrowhead is 19.1mm long, 13.4mm wide and 4.1mm thick. It may be an example of a Sutton type of arrowhead.
