An incomplete knapped lithic implement of late Neolithic date, circa 2700 BC - 2300 BC. The implement is a possible transverse arrowhead formed from a tertiary flake which is lozenge-shaped with a narrow ovate section. The piece is bifacially worked with covering, low angled removals on all surfaces. Two edges display short, parallel retouch. The flint is a mid-grey colour. The implement is 24.6mm long, 22.1mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 1.5g.

The flint is a glossy orange brown with occasional lighter inclusions and is hardly patinated.

A small Neolithic thumb scraper, designed to be held between your thumb and forefinger. The scraper has a shallow plano-convex section, with one rounded side and one convex. The flint is roughly oval in overall shape. It has been formed from a light yellowish-brown flint. The bulb of percussion and striking platform are both present, but badly damaged. Scrapers like this would have had many different functions in the Neolithic, as they were very useful tools, used for example for skinning animals, removing the fatty deposited from hinds and much more.

The unworked left edge could have been utilised as a backed blade, but the tool is more likely to be a Neolithic knife or point. The object is 77.2mm long, 40.2mm wide, 8.3mm thick and weighs 32.82g.
