A flint scraper dating from the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (3500 BC - 1500 BC). It is formed on a flake which is the bulb of percussion from a much larger flint which probably became detached during the knapping process and has been utilised as a blank for a tool. The ventral face is rounded and the dorsal face is flatter. There is semi abrupt retouch at the distal end. The flint has patinated to a creamy white colour, and is very worn perhaps suggesting a watery environment.

In plan it is almost triangular, with a widened round end, narrowing towards a slightly pointed end. The bulb of percussion is at the narrowest end, with some conchoidal ripples visible. There is a large chip at the wider end which is due to plough damage. A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date. The implement is a crudely made arrowhead or projectile, sub-triangular in plan with irregular edges. The striking platform and bulb of percussion no longer remain but ripples of percussion can be seen. Both sides of the arrowhead have been worked along the steeper edge. The flint is a light grey colour with patches of darker grey. The arrowhead is 33.9mm long, 19.6mm wide, 4.2mm thick and weighs 2.4g.
