A retouched flake of probable late Neolithic date, circa 2700 - 2200 BC. The flake is sub-triangular and asymmetrical. It has short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to both edges. There is a small amount of cortex remaining on the right mesal, so the flake is a secondary flake. There is a prominent bulb of percussion with ripples emanating from it. There is some invasive flaking to the ventral face. The flake is pale grey/brown in colour with a few paler inclusions. Length 40.5mm, width 25.2mm and thickness 7.3mm. Weight 5.8gm.

A probable flint retouched flake of probable Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2300 BC. It is made from a secondary flake and retains c.10% cortex. The dorsal face exhibits 2 large negative flake scars from previous flake removal, as well as some crude short, parallel, abrupt retouch along its dorsal end and along one mesal side. The proximal end has a striking platform, and a bulb of percussion is present on the ventral face. The flint is grey in colour with white-grey inclusions. It measures 50.84mm in length, 56.56mm in width, 17.04mm in thickness and weighs 59.8g

A retouched flint flake, probably of Neolithic date, about 4000 - 2350 BC. It is of light grey, translucent flint. It is a secondary flake with cortex surviing on the left edge. In plan it is sub-rectangular; in section it is a pointed oval. There are areas of retouch along the right edge but these are not visible along the entire edge as it has sustained some damage since deposition in the soil. The retouch is short, semi-abrupt and sub-parallel. The flake is 27.9mm long, 19.8mm wide and 5.5mm thick. It weighs 2.68gm.

Flint retouched flake, possibly a small scaper tool, of broad Neolithic date (4000 - 2200 BC). The flint is light grey in colour, is opaque and is patinated. It is sub-triangular in plan and flat-elliptical and very thin in cross-section. There is short, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch mainly on the concave left side. The flint is 21.9mm long x 13.8mm wide x 1.5mm thick and weighs 0.46g.

A flint retouched flake of possible early Neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 3300 BC. The flake is formed on translucent light grey flint with some lighter inclusions and speckles of patination. The tertiary flake is ssub-rectangular in plan, tapering towards the distal end, and is trapezoidal in section with a double dorsal ridge. The left edge is worked from the ventral face with short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch. The flake does not appear to be a formal tool form. It is 36mm long, 17.3mm wide and 4.5mm thick. 1.88g.

A complete retouched flake of Neolithic date (3500-2100 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in profile and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface is convex with two predominant negative scars corresponding arrises. The proximal end has been abruptly blunted with multiple vertical flake removals creating a stepped effect. All other edges contain fine semi-abrupt retouch and the distal end has short parallel flaking. The ventral surface is predominantly flat with a small bulb of percussion situated at the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a…
