A flint scraper of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (2700 - 1601BC). It is a broad U shape in plan with one convex edge and one concave edge. The flint is of a pale grey colour with some paler spots. The flake has invasive, low angle retouch on all edges and a long flake has been removed from the dorsal side. It is slightly concave on the ventral side. The length is 23mm, the width is 16mm, thickness 4mm and the weight 0.84g.

A flint scraper of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (2700 - 1601BC). It is D shaped in plan with one convex edge and one notched concave edge. The flint is of a mid-brown colour with some paler spots. It retains an area of cortex at one end. The flake has invasive, scaled, low angle retouch on all edges with some semi abrupt retouch on the notched edge. There is a low bulb of percussion on the ventral side. The length is 28mm, the width is 22mm, thickness 6mm and the weight 2.35g.

A flint thumb nail type scraper of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (2700 - 1601BC). Sub-circular with one square end in plan and tapering in section. The flint is of a mid- grey colour. Formed from a tertiary flake with invasive retouch on all faces, particularly abrupt at one end. There is a remnant bulb of percussion which has been reduced and evidence of some conchoidal ripple marks. The length is 37mm, the width is 34mm thickness and the weight 8.32g.

The artefact has been subjected to burning at some stage, probably accidentally as none of the removal scars look unburned. Dates to between c3500 and c1601 BC. Early Neolithic to early Bronze Age partially patinated brown flint blade. It has a series of four small shallow notches down one side, and two less obvious ones on the other side. It has been very finely knapped (the thickness never exceeds 2.5mm even at the butt end), appears unbroken, and yet has retouches and wear polish. This suggests a long lived tool that was probably used for fairly light activities, possibly the removal of bark. Dates to between c4000 and c1600 BC. The length is 47mm, and the width is 15mm the thickness 2.5mm and the weight is 2.14g.

Flint implement, hardly patinated, probably an early Neolithic laurel-leaf shaped flint arrowhead (comp. Bond 2004, fig. 5.120). The object is in very good condition and hardly patinated. It was knapped from brown opaque, translucent flint and shows retouch on both ventral and dorsal faces as well as around the edges. The flint is gently curved and one edge seems to bear more retouch marks than the other. This suggests that although having the correct shape for a laurel-leaf shaped arrowhead, it could also have been a scraper and of slightly later Neolithic or even Early Bronze Age da…
