A complete knapped lithic implement of early Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 3500 BC. The object is a serrated blade or saw which is broadly rectangular in plan and triangular in section. The ventral surface is smooth with subtle ripples of percussion. One edge of the dorsal surface has been finely and steeply retouched to create a saw tooth serrated edge along the entire length. A complete knapped lithic implement of early Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 3500 BC. The object is a serrated blade or saw which is D-shaped in both plan and section. The dorsal surface has had three long narrow flakes removed and has been notched along the left edge to create a serrated surface. The right edge is flat and steep retaining cortex. The distal edge has also been serrated though to a lesser degree than the left edge. The ventral surface is smooth with visible ripples of percussion.
