A flint scraper and knife combination tool, or lithic implement of probable Neolithic to Bronze Age period date, 2400 BC - 1000 BC. It is formed on a large secondary flake with cortex surviving at the proximal end. The flint is mottled grey and light grey and has several inclusions. There are previous removal scars on the dorsal face and left side. The distal end and the right side are retouched with short, semi-abrupt, scaled removals. An Early Neolithic multi-purpose flint tool. The flint is 75.4mm long, 46.3mm wide and 13.9mm thick. The oval flint is worked on all edges. The sides are worked from both faces and so could have been used for cutting. The ends are abruptly retouched making scraped surfaces. The striking platform has been removed in the subsequent working. The dorsal face is mostly covered with cortex. The flint is mottled grey.
