Pale grey flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. Arrowhead bearing covering angled scalar retouch across both sides, with two long cutting edges converging at a sharp and intact point, with two small barbs flanking a slightly broader tang at its wider end. The long edges are finely serrated as a result of the finishing, which would make them very effective for use as a hunting arrowhead intended to promote blood loss from a stricken quarry. Triangular flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. The tange is a little longer than the barbes. 31.11mm point to tang, 29.4mm across the barbs, 6.31mm at its thickest point and weighing in at 3.99 grams. Late Neolithic to early Bronze age (3000-1800 BC)

A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age (c. 2500 BC - c.1150 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and sub-triangular in plan. There is central tang with a barb at either side present. The tang is complete and extends beyond the limit of the barbs, of which only one is complete. The complete barb has a rounded terminal. The flint is white in colour. It weighs 1.0g and measures 16.00mm in length.
