A group of 43 worked flints, cores and waste flint fragments found in a period of 105 minutes on bare ground on the access strips in a daffodil bulb field. The scatter concentrates towards a bend in a brook with the closest approach foiled by field boundary and country lane. Back from the stream the flints peter out to nearly zero then increase to where the stream is crossed again and the 850+ scatter recorded as CORN-3A0FF2 etc on the other side. A dark grey piece of flint, square in shape with light grey inclusions in the material. The dorsal face exhibits two areas of cortex on the surface, right side below the medial and the left corner of the proximal edge. The cortex is rough to the touch, implying nodular material. The left margin is curved in appearance with a sheer face along its edge, it ends at the distal edge with a protruding piece and what appears to be some gloss on the surface. Dark grey/black piece of flint with some cortex remaining on the dorsal face. Described by the finder as a cortex blade, this appears to be a waste flake from a core which exhibits some retouch. The dorsal face is uneven, negative scars from previous use are present down the face, cortex is present on the right margin around the medial. Triangular shaped piece of translucent flecked brown chert. The dorsal face is uneven in appearance, texture typical of chert material, cortex along the distal edge of the dorsal face. The cortex is smooth to the touch, typcial of beach pebble. No obvous signs of reotuch along the edges, but the proximal edge may have been subject to retocuh because of its shape. The ventral face is smooth in appearance but has no texture.
