The arrowhead is triangular with lenticular cross-section and has scaled and low angle retouch on both sides. The barbs are longer than the tang and convex on the outer edges with obliquely angled tips (Type C) and the tang is narrow and rounded (Type G).  This example fits into the sub-classification of non-Fancy B&T arrowheads best described as Green Low types (Butler 2005: 162-165, after Green (1980).

An incomplete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating to the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age c.2500-1500 cal BC. The arrowhead is made from a tertiary flake of semi-translucent pale grey flint and has a triangular cross section. The arrowhead is almost complete with one barb being truncated with a break near the base; the other barb has a pointed tang. One face has covering, scaled low angled retouch and the other has long, scaled retouch along the edges,the central area is flat and unworked.  The arrowhead is 29.21mm long, 23.21mm wide and 4.53mm thick…

A complete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead made from a pale grey to light brown flint, 21.2mm in length and 19.7mm wide. The arrowhead is triangular with a slightly damaged squared tang and slightly curved barbs; one is squared off (possibly from a break), the other slightly pointed. Both faces have covering scaled low angle retouch.

A tertiary flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of middle Bronze Age date. The flint is pale grey in colour with a streak of mid to dark grey running vaguely diagonally across the artefact. Some impurities present. The artefact has a pointed-oval cross-section. The triangular shaped arrowhead is bifacially worked with covering parallel low angle retouch that has removed any trace of a bulb of percussion. Incomplete flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of the Beaker-Middle Bronze Age period, 2400 - 1000 BC. This barb and tang arrowhead is missing the tip and one barb, both having broken off.  It is generally triangular, bifacially worked with covering, scaled low angle retouch and deeply worked notches between the tang and barbs.  The tang tapers to a rounded point and is slightly longer than the remaining barb.  The barb tapers to a fine square end, although this might be a broken-off point.  The shape most closely resembles Sutton B types, after Green (1980).  T…
