An incomplete polished flint axehead of Neolithic date, c. 4000-2350 BC. The axehead is bi-convex and has a sub-rectangular profile and a pointed oval section. It has a smooth ground surface and a tapered ground curvilinear cutting edge. The axehead terminates at a blunt break part-way along its length. The break bears traces of the same cream discolouration as the outer surfaces, suggesting that the break is old.
