An incomplete tertiary flake of brown flint, which appears to have snapped in half along the long axis, perhaps as a result of post depositional damage. A bulbar scar is retained at the proximal end. The remaining long edge appears to have short, scaled low-angle retouch along it, suggesting that the flake was utilised as a tool.

A large and coarse scraper dating from the Neolithic to Bronze Age. The scraper is struck off a tertiary flake made of speckled light orange brown flint with a matte patina. The scraper is broadly tear dropped shape in plan and a pointed oval in cross section. This distal edge, which makes up nearly an entire curved edge of the flake has short parallel, semi abrupt retouch on its dorsal face. The dorsal face also demonstrates at least two earlier flake removals struck in a different direction to the flake. The ventral surface shows no retouch but has a pronounced bulb of per…

The object has a roughly D-shaped cross section and has been worked from multiple directions with soft-hammered and pressure flaked removals. Pale grey flint, appearing honey-coloured under transmitted light, arrowhead, as kindly identified by the finder. A thin sub-triangular flake [formerly triangular, tip lost leaving a positive hinge fracture at its end] with covering angled scalar retouch across both its sides. Very fine serrations along one long side are more easily felt than observed; a more limited zone of very short abrupt retouch appears on the opposite long edge. Misty patina on part of both sides suggests the object has subsequently endured a period of exposure to a calcareous environment. This object bears compa…

A late Mesolithic or Neolithic flint blade or flake: In section the blade is trapezoidal and in plan is sub-triangular. The dorsal surface has three main vertical scars. The ventral surface has ripples, bulb of percussion and bulbar scars. A tertiary flake of dark brown-blake flint, possible a knife of Neolithic or Bronze Age date. The flake has been retouched around the distal tip on both faces with low angle intrusive scaled retouch and along one side on the dorsal face only with semi abrupt and abrupt scaled retouch. The flake has been heavily water worn and rolled so the edges are damaged.
