A complete end and side scraper of Neolithic date (4000-2350BC). This is a D shaped scraper knapped from a secondary flake with previous flake removals on the dorsal surface and remaining cortex along the left lateral edge. The bulb of percussion is very diffuse and there is a distinctive lip on the striking platform, both indicative of the soft hammer percussion technique. This may also tentatively suggest an earlier Neolithic date as soft hammer was used less in the later Neolithic.
