A complete flint flaked and polished axe of probable late Neolithic date (c.3300 - 2200 BC) The axe is an elongated flame-shape, sub-oval in cross-section and bifacially worked. There is invasive, scaled, low angle retouch on both faces with limited polishing visible in places at the cutting edge on the wider end. Two areas of the original cortex are present on one face: near the smaller 'haft' end, and another section adjacent to a long lateral natural step or groove close to one edge. A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age (c. 2500 BC - c.1150 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and sub-triangular in plan. There is central tang with a barb at either side present. The tang is complete and extends beyond the limit of the barbs, of which only one is complete. The complete barb has a rounded terminal. The flint is white in colour. It weighs 1.0g and measures 16.00mm in length.
