Three flint pieces found together, one possible awl and two debitage fragments, likely dating to the late Mesolithic to early Neolithic period (c.8000-3300 BC). The awl is made of a dark and light grey flint and has a defined angled point. Possible large Mesolithic awl or chopping tool. Made from sub-oval flint pebble with a sub-circular section that has hard-hammer flakes removed bifacially at one end to produce a point. The tool retains a considerable amount of cortex on the butt, enabling it to be comfortably held.

Retouched flake that has created an awl that has one arise on the dorsal and a large bulb-of-percussion on the ventral. The left side of the flint has semi-abrupt, inverse, scaled, short retouch creating a pointed tip. The flint has a thin creamy patina but this has been removed from all areas of retouch exposing a dark grey flint.
