A flint scraper of Mesolithic to Neolithic date, 10,000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a secondary or tertiary flake of dark grey flint, which has cortex or thick repatination on the side faces with are not retouched. The scraper is broadly ovoid or egg shaped in plan with the narrow end angled to the right. There is a striking platform at the proximal end with some evidence of platform preparation. An oblique flint arrowhead dating to the later Neolithic period (c 3300-2400 BC), made from a secondary flake of brown flint. The tip is triangular, with scaled covering retouch across the dorsal side, around a small area of pale buff coloured cortex at the centre. There is further scaled and intrusive retouch along the left side of the arrowhead towards the rear end. The right side retains an area of cortex which covers a single barb on the rear edge. This barb has short, scaled and low angle retouch on the reverse side. The underside of the arrowhead retains a bulbar scar which …
