A complete lead-alloy button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500-1625. Read 2005, p.70. no.250. The button has a circular head with a gently convexed front with a pellet in the centre. The front is decorated with irregularly spaced grooves radiating from the pellet to the edge. The reverse of the head is flat and an integral elongated oval loop projects centrally from it, set on a casting line. A similar shaft extends from the opposite edge of each panel, one terminating is a transverse ridge, the other in a worn break.
