Two (2) conjoined sheets of heavily leaded copper-alloy of uncertain date. The fragments are irregularly shaped with worn breaks to all edges. No identifying features are present. The metal has a mid-green patina with shiny grey patches and is in fair condition. The object is 54.1mm long, 41mm wide, 9.6mm thick and weighs 63.8g. Due to a lack of diagnostic features it is not possible to identify these fragments with confidence. It was found in the same area as a number of fragments of a statue of Roman date though is thinner in section that any currently known pieces of this object.…

A fragment of a copper alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. The fragment is a waisted elongated oval in plan and sub-rectangular in section. The waist in the centre of the fragment produces the appearance of a pair of ovals joined by a narrowed mid-area. One of these ovals terminates with a pair of worn projections, possibly the remains of an integrally cast loop. The other terminates with a circular sectioned projection with a worn break. The surface of the fragment is very worn, therefore any potential decoration is obscured or lost. The fragment has a worn dark-green …
