A incomplete cast copper alloy penannular object, possibly a mount or a brooch frame. The object has a crescent shaped frame, 4mm thick, with bevelled sides and a triangular cross section which expands to the mid point where there is a small hole, possibly an articulation for a now missing pin, or a mounting point. The frame has broken in half across this hole. The remaining terminal at the end of the arm has a small rounded plates with a central hole, which could be decorative or for an attachment rivet. The surface of the object has traces of tinning.

There is a ridge across the front end behind a pierced pin articulation and small bar which retains a copper alloy pin. The integrally cast frame has broken away and been lost.

A cast copper alloy fragment, probably part of a late Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) cast copper-alloy cheek piece from a harness fitting dating to the 11th century AD (cf. Williams (2007) Type 1). The fragment comprises a curled loop with teardrop shaped aperture at the centre, part of a second aperture on one side (which the object has broken across) and four or more incomplete decorative projections running around the exterior edge. One side of the fragment has crudely incised geometric decoration in the form of two bands, possible devolved interlace or zoomorphic forms.

A flint axehead of Neolithic date, 133mm in length, struck from a mottled grey flint and bifacially worked. The axehead is symmetrical on two axes and has a lenticular cross section, flaring smoothly to a rounded cutting edge 58.7mm wide. There is a large area of damage to the front edge which may be post depositional in origin. There are no areas of polishing. A patch of white cortex is retained at the centre of one face.

An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman looped toggle fastener. The toggle has a semi circular loop, 20.9mm wide, projecting from one long side of a cylindrical body. This body is 16.9mm in diameter, decorated with two incised circumferential bands and has a conical terminal with a small apical knop. One end of the body has broken away to reveal the hollow interior of the casting.

A bent fragment of a Roman copper alloy bracelet or armlet, 4mm wide with a flat cross section. The exterior is divided into panels by deeply incised transverse lines, each panel with an oblique line running across it diagonally with a pair of offset notches, one to each side. The angle of the diagonals alternates creating a zig-zag effect. The bracelet appears to have been intentionally cut to respect the edges of the panels at either end and has been bent around, possibly for re-use as a finger ring. There are traces of a white metal coating.

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman finger ring, comprising a raised oval bezel, 8.2mm long and 3.3mm high, with a deep setting for a now lost stone or intaglio. The bezel rises from the line of the hoop which has a flat cross section and triangular shoulders which are waisted at the junction to the bezel and which taper into the hoop. The shoulders are decorated with transverse ridges. Cf. Guiraud's (1989) Type 3 (later 2nd to later 3rd century AD) or Henig's (2007, 13) Type VIII (3rd century AD).

An incomplete a cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, probably Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and enclose an iron spring held on an iron spindle with a chord held in a lug projecting from the centre. The mounting arrangment of the spring axis spindle is now concealed by rusted concretion. The bow is narrow and strongly arched, triangular in cross section and decorated with a ridge along the spine. The rest of the bow, the foot and the catchplate are missing.
