An incomplete Roman copper alloy enamelled disc brooch of moulded type, dating to the 2nd century AD. The brooch has three concentric ridges of retained metal, with the spaces between possibly once infilled with enamel, although no trace now remains. The circular recessed boss is now empty but may once have held either enamel or a glass setting. The reverse has a hinge lug holding a copper alloy hinge on an iron spindle and catchplate. The brooch has been bent across the mid line and the pin is missing.

An incomplete, bent and extremely corroded cast copper alloy Roman bow brooch of Colchester derivative two piece front-hooked type, dating to the first century AD. The arms are semi-cylindrical and there is a stump for a spring hook at the front of the head. The bow tapers and curves back from the head, with a sub rounded cross section and a ridged spine. The bow tapers to a triangular foot with a stump of a catchplate beneath.

An incomplete a cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, probably Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and enclose an iron spring held on an iron spindle with a chord held in a lug projecting from the centre. The mounting arrangment of the spring axis spindle is now concealed by rusted concretion. The bow is narrow and strongly arched, triangular in cross section and decorated with a ridge along the spine. The rest of the bow, the foot and the catchplate are missing.

An incomplete and bent cast copper alloy Roman Initial T-shaped brooch, of Colchester derivative hinged pin type (Mackreth (2011) CD H) dating to the late 1st to early 2nd century AD. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman or later Iron Age bow brooch of La Tene III or Nauheim derivative type. A portion of the integrally cast spring is retained separately. The bow has a flat cross sectional profile and is lenticular in shape, expanding to a maximum width of 8.5mm at the lower end before tapering sharply towards the foot which has largely broken off. The bow is decorated with a double row of punched dots along both lateral margins.

An early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy saucer brooch, dating to c. AD.450-550. The front of the brooch is dished, with an angular and upturned rim around; this is incomplete on one side. The front of the brooch is decorated with a five pointed star pattern formed by double-ridged concave arcs enclosed by an engraved concentric line around a small central boss. There is no trace of gilding. The reverse has an in-line hinge lug and catchplate. There is extensive deposition of iron corrosion products around the hinge lug from a now lost iron spring and pin.
