A large and complete cast copper alloy Post Medieval crotal bell, complete with iron clapper. The bell has a square suspension loop, 10.3mm wide. with a square cross section of 3.6mm. There are four sound holes, two separate ones in the top hemisphere and two conjoined in the lower hemisphere; the latter are framed by an incised linear border. There is linear decoration on the lower part of the bell comprising lines radiating from a linear border around the lower sound holes and evidence for similar decoration on the upper part although this is now too worn to see. A fragment of a handle or lug from a copper alloy vessel, 35.5mm in length, probably Roman. The handle is 3.5mm thick and has a plano convex profile. one end terminates in a break, the other is attached to a fragment of the surface of whatever the handle was attached to. This surface is decorated with moulded lines around the point of attachment to the handle. The reverse of the object is rough with a damaged surface indicative of breakage from a larger object's surface. See also NMS-98EB98.

There is a circular perforation in the end measuring 6.3mm in diameter and a larger, round hole measuring 11.8mm in diameter within a neck which protrudes around 6.5mm out from the opposite side, presumably to fit the handle. The object is undecorated.

There are three distinct stamped designs: An Irish harp, crowned, flanked by a pair of five-petaled flowers all set within in a diamond or lozenge comprising a plain line and outer cabled border. A monogram of TG flanked by a pair of quatrefoils within a circular cabled border surrounded by an indecipherable legend with a number of five petalled flowers as initial marks, possibly ***[...]P.P.Y. An engraved and curved copper alloy fragment, 36.2mm in length. One side is engraved with the letters oWo within a semicircular border, away from which a number of lines radiate. The design is orientated to a linear border around the rim or edge of the fragment. The reverse is undecorated and the profile, although distorted and bent, demonstrates a curve suggesting a piece of a vessel such as a skillet. Post Medieval.
