White metal disc. A probably milled disc with the stamped letter R off-centre on one side. The mass does not suggest this to be a worn coin converted to other uses, as a silver groat or a sixpence - the best matches for size - should usually be heavier. Possibly used as a tally. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1900. Diameter: 21.1mm, Thickness: 0.5mm, Weight: 1.57gms
