Strap handle joint fragment from a jug of North Devon Medieval Coarseware (NDMC), c. AD 1250-1450. The handle is vaguely pointed-oval in plan, with one end being wider and more rounded, and the other being thinner and more pointed, creating a comma shape. It is trapezoidal in profile and sub-triangular in section. There is a linear depression along the joint surface.  The fabric is buff in colour with moderate inclusions. A flint flake or bladelet of Mesolithic date (c. 9000 - 4000 BC). The flint is grey in colour. It is a secondary flake with a tiny area of cortex on the distal end of the flake remaining. The flake has a glossy surface, with a scattering of pale grey inclusions on the dorsal face. In plan it is sub-rectangular and in cross-section it is sub-triangular. A copper-alloy bracelet fragment, probably dating to the Roman period c. AD 250 - 410. The fragment consists of a flat, parallel sided strip of copper alloy with a flattened oval section near one end. Both ends terminate in old breaks. One edge of the bracelet is decorated with a series of punched dots, with the other edge undecorated. There is a ring-and-dot punch decoration at either end of the object.
