A copper alloy strap end dating to the late fourteenth or early fifteenth centuries AD. The strap end comprises a hollow, rectangular attachment plate; the upper surface of which is decorated with an incised letter 'M' surrounded by rocker work patterns. The attachment plate extends to an hour glass shaped body with circumferential ribbed mouldings; beyond the body, there extends an openwork terminal comprising two arched projections with scroll motifs flanking an eagle looking over its shoulder. Obverse: Radiate bust right with long eyebrow, lips formed of two lines, no neck; runic legend before, inverted 'V' with two annulets behind.

A Medieval gold annular brooch weighing 1.34g. The brooch frame has a triangular cross-section with a flat undecorated reverse surface. The frame has an external diameter of 16.5mm and the internal diameter of the loop is 11.9mm. The frame has a thickness of 0.9mm.
1.6mm of the frame's circumference contracts to form a pin constriction. This constriction reduces the width of the frame, at this place, to c.0.9mm.
