Record ID: CAM-E91E1D
Object type: COIN
Broad period: ROMAN
County: Cambridgeshire
Workflow stage: Published
An irregular, roughly oval shaped fragment of copper-alloy, possibly a very worn and corroded coin of unclear date. It is plausibly a Roman coin, either a radiate or nummus of unclear type dating to period c.AD 260-402, but this is unclear due to the preservation of the object and any lack of surviving detail on either face, with a much later date and differing function possible. The edges of the object are incomplete due to old breaks.
