A medieval silver coin, a groat of Edward III (1327- 1377). Obverse shows forward facing crowned bust in tressure of nine arches. Obverse legend reads EDWARD D G REX ANGL Z FRANC D hYB with single annulet stops. Reverse shows three pellets closely set per quarter between the arms of a solid long cross. Reverse legend reads CIVI/TAS/LON/DON, outer legend reads POSVI/DEVm A/DIVTOR/Em mEV . North 1147 Fourth coinage, pre-treaty period (1351-1361), series C (1351-1352). Diameter 27.68mm, thickness 1.02mm, weight 4.53g.

An incomplete copper-alloy Colchester one piece type brooch, dating c.25-60AD. The bow has a circular cross-section. Wings extend out from the bow on each side by 2.23mm. No catch plate survives. The start of a pin and hook only survive for a length of 4.00mm. Dimensions: length 58mm, bow width 4.17mm tapering to 1.35mm, wings are 3.10mm wide and 1.35mm thick, weight 2.72g. This brooch is suffering considerably from corrosion.

A silver finger-ring probably of 15th century date, showing Christian religious imagery. Dimensions: weight 8.5g, outer diameter 23.48mm, thickness 1.39mm, width of band 7.63mm. The band has a rectangular cross-section and smooth undecorated inner surface. Silver seal-die, the face deeply engraved. A shield with unidentified arms of a central chevron with five pellets (!) and two lions passant above and one below. Pearled border. The back fluted but loop attachment now missing. Originally a fob seal, well-engraved. 16th -17th Century. As such, due to its age and precious metal content, this object qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester type bow brooch of the first century AD. Weight is 18.68g, length is 80.5mm. The wings have a width of 20.8mm and height of 5.1mm. The spring formed of either eight or ten coils protrudes further than the wings for a total width of 25.0mm.
