A copper-alloy nummus of Constantius II, AD 337-361 (Reece period 18). Reverse legend reads SPES REI PVBLICE. Reverse shows Spes standing left, holding globe and spear. Mint is Thessalonica, AD 355-361. RIC VIII, p. 422, cf. no. 213. Obverse legend is illegible. Obverse shows pearl-diademed bust right. Reverse fields and exergue read: / //[S]MT[S?]]. Condition is fine, die axis is 6 o'clock, weight is 1.04g, diameter is 14.46mm.
