A gold annular brooch of Medieval date. The brooch weighs 2.36g and has an external diameter of 20.0mm and internal diameter of 14.4mm. The frame of the brooch has a 'D' shaped cross-section with convexly curved upper surface and flat reverse. The band of the frame has a width of 2.8mm and thickness of 1.1mm. The band constricts for a length of 2.1mm so that the pin can attach to the frame. The width and cross-section of the pin constriction is uncertain as it is hidden from view by the pin.
