A copper-alloy Nummus of the House of Valentinian, AD 364-378 (Reece period 19). Reverse legend is illegible but originally read [GLORIA RO-MANORVM]. Reverse shows Emperor dragging captive. Possibly mint of Lyon.
Obverse legend is illegible. Obverse shows a diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 1.83g, diameter is 17.1mm, thickness 1.7mm.
